Renaissance & Religion projects reflections

Purpose/ Intention:

The purpose of this graphic organizer is just to state the main ideas and have a lot of pictures that are explained in the presentation.

2 Stars:

- I like how it is in point form and not in sentences, it is easy to see, because there isn't a lot of words in it. Also the title is big and easy to read.

- I like how it is divided into 3 sections (when, how & why) instead of just placing the pictures and information randomly.

1 Wish:

- I wish that the religion symbols were bigger than the other ones because they are more important than the other ones, so they have to stand out.

Purpose/ Intention:

The purpose of this graphic organizer is to organize a lot of information in web form with visual aids and make connections.

Evaluation:

I would give a low "A" or a high "B" for this. I tried to include everything we needed to get an "A". I like the color coding and how organized it is, but i wish I added more pictures and a legend.  I used other types of graphic organizers like a venn-diagram and a chart to get a higher mark.

What did you learn from these two assignments?

I learned that I have to make a draft for everything before I do a good copy so I don't erase so much and ruin the project. If i make a draft, I would know where to put everything neatly instead of going into the good copy right away. I would also know what kind of materials I need. Second thing I learned is how to organize information using different kinds of graphic organizers.

What are you most proud of?

I'm really proud that I made the Renaissance Project without doing any research on the internet. I only used the video notes, novel notes and the Pathways book questions. Overall, I'm proud of how much effort I put into these projects and how much time I spent making them.
